Introducing Vibe Wire!

Welcome to the very first episode of Vibe Wire! I'm your host Dave Norman, and I'm excited to introduce this new podcast and give you an idea of what you'll be in for when you subscribe.

What is Vibe Wire?

Vibe Wire is going to be a podcast I've been wanting to make for a long time. It's going to have two main components:

Daily Tech News Show

  • Latest AI coding tools and marketing tools of the day
  • Live demonstrations of how I'm using these tools
  • Practical insights you can apply immediately

Behind-the-Scenes Deep Dives

  • How I'm actually using these tools day-to-day to produce the show
  • Workflows and productivity techniques
  • The technical side of content creation

Why Now?

I think this is the right time to do this because there's just never been more tools available. The productivity that can be unlocked by some of these tools is really amazing, and I want to show others how they can achieve that too.

I really like those types of shows, but I haven't found anything like this for AI in particular - especially for AI coding tools.

A Little About Me

Let me give you some background on myself:

  • 13 years as a software engineer
  • Started long before AI coding became mainstream
  • Experience with all sorts of development tools
  • Full-stack developer: frontend, backend, web, and mobile
  • Worked at large companies like Cisco Systems and Capital One
  • Experience at various small companies
  • Currently building my own startup (which will appear as a sponsor throughout the show)

Building a Community

I'm really interested in what you're building as well. I'm looking to find and build a community of people who are:

  • Building their own projects
  • Starting their own ventures
  • Creating content
  • Running businesses and looking for productivity tools

Since I'll be running this show mostly by myself, I'm going to be looking for the best tools to simplify my workflows.

The Secret Plan

Here's the ultimate goal: I'm starting with two shows, but I'd really like to have one of them be completely automated at some point.

The daily news show could potentially be run by AI that can:

  • Pull the best developments from each day
  • Gather interesting information
  • Put together useful, engaging videos
  • Potentially create content better than I could manually

There are lots of great AI avatars that look and talk better than me! Meanwhile, I can focus on:

  • My day job
  • The deep-dive content
  • Showing how I'm automating these processes

What's Next?

I'm looking forward to:

  • Connecting with all of you who are watching
  • Sharing ideas back and forth with the community
  • Getting your input on tools and workflows
  • Building something amazing together
